Biography
Bart Jaspers started an IT-company just after graduating (1993) from the renowned Small Business school in the Netherlands. His company Device specialised in the refurbishment and remarketing of used PC-products. Device had operations in 9 countries, 250 staff and annually processed over 150,000 PC-products. In 2007 Bart sold his shares in the company and looked for new challenges.
After having wandered in the healthcare market for over 2 years (“You can be too early with innovationsâ€), Bart started several innovative projects and companies, amongst others in the field of car parking, automotive car computer data, energy consumption data benchmark, healthcare auctions, autonomous sports video recording system, cashless payment systems, web-based Point of Sale software and the IOT-platform ConnectedMolecules through which machines and physical objects are treated as quasi autonomous economic actors.
You will find Bart at the crossroads of bits and molecules, where in today’s society smart bits add far more value than just dumb molecules ! Key areas of interest are: commerce / retail, automotive market, healthcare sector, energy systems, educational sector, food production and financial systems. Bart is a social entrepreneur who loves to solve social challenges with entrepreneurial, sustainable solutions. “More profit with less turnoverâ€, is one of his key goals. “The most sustainable driver for change is fair profit. For that we need responsible companies.â€
